Super Famous Animals is a one hour show that tells the stories of the most famous animals on the planet!
In the programme we reveal where it all started for Ashleigh and Pudsey, with access to rare home video footage before they were famous, as well as exclusive behind the scenes filming as Pudsey continues his crusade for world doggy domination!
In Hollywood we meet Uggie, the 10 year old Jack Russell who helped silent movie The Artist win five Oscars this year. While over in the hills we hang out with Tom Gunderson and his pet Capuchin Crystal, the world’s most famous movie star monkey. Crystal’s credit list includes blockbusting hits Hangover 2 and the Night at The Museum films. Tom even shows us how he bathes his leading lady in the kitchen sink!
We also tell the tales of the online sensations who have achieved worldwide celebrity. There’s Nora the piano playing tabby cat who inspired a Lithuanian composer to write a ‘Catcerto’ using Nora as the solo pianist. Twiggy the Waterskiing Squirrel whose videos still go viral even though she’s clocked up over 30 years of super fame. And we join Norman the Scooter dog as he works on his brand new trick – riding a bike!
